First Edition:Fantasy Football Rankings 2016

1.  Cam Newton

what more is there to say, Cam Newton looks like the best overall offensive player in the NFL. He was unstoppable all year passing for 3800 yards and 35 touchdowns with a hodgepodge receiving core.  Cam also tallied 10 rushing scores as well as over 600 yards on the ground. He outscored the next best QB by nearly 4 fantasy points per game. As a integral part of my own 2015 fantasy team, he inspired me to create a new nickname for him, “CamGod”.  CamGod single handedly won fantasy owners a couple games last year, and with the return of projected number one receiver Kelvin Benjamin, Cam looks to be in store for another historic season.

2. Aaron Rodgers
Something was obviously lacking in Green Bay this year, and that something was the explosive Jordy Nelson. On top of other key injuries on offense throughout the season (Lacy, Adams, etc.),  Randall Cobb was rendered mediocre without his running buddy Nelson to share the load.  Rodgers did still pass for nearly 4000 yards and 31 touchdowns to only 8 interceptions in what was statistically a down year for the former MVP. Expect a bounce back year for Mr. Rodgers with the return of his full arsenal of weapons.

3. Russell Wilson
Over the last 7 games of 2015 Wilson was on fire, posting 26 total touchdowns. His mix of air and ground attack skills allowed him to post numbers similar to MVP Cam Newton.  Russell has a young, talented group of receivers that should only get better with time. Tyler Lockett stepped up big time after Jimmy Graham went down for the season and is looking to be in store for a monster 2016.

4. Tom Brady

5. Carson Palmer

6. Ben Roethlisberger

7. Andrew Luck

8. Derek Carr

9. Drew Brees

10. Jameis Winston
